33 STRIPED BASS AGAIN FOR PABLO SUNDAY NOV 21 2010
Headed out with Joey , Bill and Steve 6 am. We had 12 bass right out side the inlet before we set sail west and crushed the fish to total 33 Bass 5 Big Blues and some doggies. We saw a MEGA blitz going on in deep water and moved over to find Herring being chased right out of the water by Bass. Threw on the Sabiki had 1 on and lost it SOB I wanted so much to catch a Herring maybe tomorrow I will get them
.
Named the New Spot after Joey because he caught the 1st keeper there and we Raked Joey over and over for bass to 15 to 20 lbs Limited out and played catch and release. Great Day saw a Many Friends. Funny thing about 9 am the bite died and 1/2 the fleet left just as we were ready to go Bam fish on. Then 2 then 3 then 4 at one time it was Pandemonium as we all landed Keeper Stripers
It was my Pleasure having you on my boat you guys rock.
Bill was so so tired from catching he wanted to head in so back to the dock for Fillet O fish time.
We also landed a Tagged Striper I cut off the Tag and released the fish

101 STRIPERS FOR PABLO!!!
REALLY? Yes Really!!! Left the dock with Jr and Dean and hit the Ocean 6 AM. We caught a few short bass right outside the inlet and made a quick decision to run west to the Blitzing Grounds. Ran right into the MOTHER OF ALL BLITZS with Thousands of birds and Acres of Fish. We broke out the heavy A-67 Diamond jigs working the 80′ depths. This was the best Idea I had because on top was all Short Bass in the Middle was BIG GODZILLA BLUEFISH and on the bottom were all the Bass you could catch!!!
After 3 hours of NON-STOP Fishing, Dean was so tired he pasted out in the cabin LOL!!! it was 9 am and Dean and Jr had to go to work. we each caught over 20 bass a piece we lost count after 50. So we worked our way east stopping off on every Pod after Pod after Pod of fish Keeping our limit of 4 Bass RELEASING THE REST. I dropped them off and called my Beautiful wife Kat. GET DOWN HERE!!! IT THE DAYS OF ALL DAYS!!! Flat Calm Ocean and Millions of Stripers just waiting for you!!! She came down to the boat quickly and we went right back to where we were earlier. This time we worked the 20 to 30′ depths with the A-27 Diamond jig with Green tubes. As for Kat doesn’t like the heavy stuff it’s light action tackle fishing at it’s best and we both landed over 20 fish a piece. We Played Catch and RELEASE on that sunny warm November day till 2:30 PM until Kat couldn’t reel anymore and we again worked EVERY pod of BLITZING STRIPERS all the way home!!! The Afternoon fishing was better than the AM…. JUST INSANE !!! It’s been years since I had a 100 fish day !!!
Check out this Video

35 STRIPED BASS I MUST BE CRAZY
Short Version 35 Striped Bass to 20 Lbs, 12 Gorilla Blues and a few Dog fish. RELEASING them all Except 2 Bleeders
Got a call from Peter Park, Pablo your Killing them man hows Tuesday Looking? I’m Wide Open Peter. My friend Mike (BrooklynKeeper) wants to go too? NO PROBLEM the Weather and Seas look GREAT! Let’s GO!!!
6 am we push off and arrive at the inlet to find Bass rolling in the back and a Seal hanging out. I make a few casts and hook a nice 36″ Bass, RELEASE IT,and then Peter and Mike both hook into several keepers and a few Shorts. By 8:30 am we could have went home with 6 Keepers and 3 Shorts up to 15-18 lbs and been very satisfied but we were just getting started.
We Headed West stopping off at all the spots picking a few more Bass but nothing great till we got to the Spot and Hit the bottom and we got em. Nice size fish 15 to 20 lbs there and we also landed some BIG BLUES. As the tide dropped out so did the bite and everyone left when the Spiny Dog Fish showed up.
By this time we were up to 21 Stripers, 12 Blues. We stayed at this number for about 2 hours when we decided to head back home and call it a day.
I spotted some birds working close to shore and headed over. This was a Good move for we All Landed a Bigger Class of fish and shot up our count to 31 and then that flurry dissipated and we were on the move east again. Stopped off at the Now Called (JAYBASS44) spot and picked off 4 more before Peter Cried Uncle Pablo I have to go…
At 35 I said ok, but were leaving them Bitting! I saw the look in his eyes and we crused home on nice Flat Ocean water temp 50 air temp 55. The day couldn’t have went better Peter and Mike you guys were great I’m so glad you got into some of this Fall Madness
Great Video and Pictures this time
Fri and Sat are Open
I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CALL ME NOW!!!

21 Bass Salute Sunday Nov 14 2010
Called everyone no one wanted to go play so I went SOLO. Hit the inlet shot out to the west 7 am not bad caught 5 Bass right off the bat 1 keeper. Then it quieted down and started to head west. I worked all the spots for a slow pick here and there landing a few more nothing big all in the 27″ to 32″ range. Saw the entire Fire Island Fleet and headed over to do some Jigging.
Right off the bat I had a bass Oooo this ones big half way through the fight she spit the hook SOB can’t win them all. I turn on my camera LOW battery it shuts off oh come on… So I didn’t take any pictures but I had good friend Chris fishing next to me so he snapped this one for me.
I ended up with 15 Bass and 2 Blues. The Jet game was on 103.9 so I decided to head home. It was a long slow ride back and just as I got to the inlet Capt.James from the Rosie says hey Pablo were in a striper Blitz come on out and get some well you know that I just couldn’t leave with a MEGA blitz going on so I head over to him and 1st cast I hooked a Gorilla Blue Oh man does that hurt on light tackle. Then I landed another 6 Bass and 1 more Godzilla Blue. Called it quits after that.
Saw a few fellow Noreasters Tommy Boy, I’m a Fin Addict, Jan, Codi, and a bunch of other party boats Jib IV, Laura Lee, and a few others all had fish flying over the rails.

72 STRIPED BASS, UT OH I WANT SOME MORE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, TAKE A BITE OF LURE TONIGHT
72 Stripers today from Sun Up to Sun Down. Had My Brother In Law Danny Heller and his 2 Best Friends out today for some LOCK and LOAD Fishing. We started off in the back bay area with nothing in any of my regular November Spots. We could hear the Roaring Ocean so I was hopping to catch some Stripers on the way out but, the Bay was dead and we found out why . As soon as we peeked out side the Inlet we saw a MASSIVE bird Blitz going on
!!! The only problem was we could not get to them because the Breakers were so LARGE we would have gotten Killed if we dared to go near them
. I looked to the west, I’ll admit I was a Bit Nervous but I saw an Opening and shot full speed, riding a wave like a surf boarder. YES as soon as we got out we ran SMACK into a BLITZ going on. YES everyone was hooked up and KEEPERS were filling the box right off the bat
. I never saw a happier guy than Jim catching Striped Bass. He would SCREAM every time he hooked up!!! YES!!! LOOK AT MY POLE!!! THAT’S RIGHT IT BENT OVER BABY!!! Stuff like that, He kept us laughing and in a good mood all day long. He Kept track of the number of fish we caught, yelling out each time we caught fish.
My Brother in law also did very well Landing so many fish today we lost track of how many each of us caught but Jim never let us forget what number we were up to all day long .
Dan wasn’ t the only one to hook up on a Nice Keeper . Yours Truly was of fire today just barley edging Danny out for BIG DOG of the day
.
Around 11 Am things went quiet and I began to look around for more Fish when I spotted a HUGE BLITZ of Stripers off to the west a bit. IT WAS LOCK AND LOAD for the rest of the day . Just look at this Fish Finder below. There were even thicker concentrations of Keeper Stripers then this from time to time. TRULEY one of the best days I could remember in years. ARTIE really poored it on in the last 2 hours of fishing catching 20 plus fish at the last Blitz
We limited out early but we could not bring ourselves to stop fishing RELEASING so many KEEPERS it was off the wall Fall Fishing at it’s BEST
. A day we all won’t soon forget…
UT OH I WANT SOME MORE, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR CALL
