Headed out with Neil 6 am on Tuesday Sept 27 under a heavy fog. We made our way to the inlet and we there was only one other boat besides us. We had the whole place to our self’s for 3 hours we tried outside, inside, the inlet and the back bays for nada.

Around 9 AM I decided to try the East cut the same place I caught the fish Yesterday. I made a cast and Jokingly said to Neil see the big striper on my plug? As the words left my mouth BOOM a Striper exploded on my Gibbs Polaris Popper. Neil said how did you know ? I said I was joking but that was just the beginning.

I got this shot off my Video Camera. So we found the fish and were able to raise 5 more fish there landing 3 in the next hour or so. Here’s that fish above exploding on the plug nice 35″ Back bay Beauty

As the out going tide picked up the bite died so we went to the ocean and tried the breakers some more. We played the back side as we had out going tide and a northerly breeze Neil raised 2 more fish on a Yellow 2 3/4 yellow Gibbs Pencil popper but both broke off before the boat. Hey Sometimes you win sometimes the fish is gonna win. So it was getting late and we decided to head back and here what was in the belly of the Striper.
