   Hi Paul,

   Been reading and watching your reports for some time now. And know you do very well (to say the least) with the Stripers. So I have a question for you. Even though you’re catching loads of Bass this season, are you a bit concerned of the lack of the Big Bass? I haven’t seen nor heard of a 60 or larger Bass caught. And seems that the 40′s and 50 pound fish are much fewer than in the past, DO YOU agree or am I wrong? Thanks for your postings, maybe I’ll use your services one day next year, for Fluking.

   Hi Will,

   I have seen more larger fish this season than ever before. The 2010 Striped Bass Season was EPIC!!! The whole month of June had nothing but 30 to 50 lbs class fish right in front of Fire Island Inlet. The video of my wife catching 40 to 45 lbs stripers 1 after another was the unbelieveable. Usually we may see 1 fish that size per year. This year I’d say 40 to 50 EXTRA large Stripers 30 to 50 lbs class NO JOKE. To bad you don’t want to go Striper fishing for Friday we had over 100 fish easy and it doesn’t seen to be over for at least another week.
